Main Challenge
This is a high customised site with a number of challenges
Migration – we migrated customers, and orders from a Volusion site using WP All Import.
Multi language – the Canadian site has French and English translations, this was done with Polylang.
Custom authentication – The site uses Microsoft Azure for authentication across all the companies sites, we needed to use this over normal WordPress authentication.
Integrations – lots of integration between central CMS system for imagery and central accounting services for via the WooCommerce REST API
Custom Shipping – I wrote a custom shipping solution for the canadian site to calculate shipping of large liquid hydrogen filled containers to Candian provences.
Custom Search – I coded up a custom search solution using Relwvanssi
