Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Will It Cost?

That depends upon the help you need.

When you request a quote I’ll send you a fixed price quote to fix your problem, what you are quoted is what you will pay, no price creepage or additional fees.

Request a quote, it costs nothing and there is no obligation.

I’ll send you the quote and perhaps follow up once of you don’t accept the quote as a reminder, that is.

How Is Payment Made?

Payment comes in two phases.

Deposit – I’ll request 50%  payment up front before work begins.

Final payment – Once the project is complete and you are happy and sign the project off I’ll send you a final 50% payment to close down the project.

I’ll send you an invoice from my Freshbooks system, that has a link to a stripe checkout to pay by card, we can arrange bank transfer or payment by PayPal if required.

How does the no fix no fee guarantee work.

On a small number of projects I have realised that I cannot fix the issue my client is having.

If this is the case on your project, I’ll let you know and refund all deposit money paid.

I’ll return your site to you the way it was sent it to me.

How Will You Manage The Project?

Once we start our project together I’ll send you an invite for my project management software Basecamp.

I’ll create a shared project where we can keep up to date on project progress, chat with each other using live chat.

I’ve got a process to update you when I start working, at the end of the end of the day and throughout the process so you always know where we are in your project.

Can I Speak To An Existing Client As A Reference?

Of course I’ll link you with one of my existing clients upon request.

How Long Have You Been A Freelance WordPress Developer

I’ve been working as a freelance WordPress developer since 2008 and in I.T. for all of my long career.

I’ve worked with more than 500 clients on approaching 2000 projects.

I know WordPress inside out, I’m confident I can solve your WordPress problem.

I live in X Country But You Are In The UK How Will That Work?

I’ve worked with clients all across the world, I frequently work with clients in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

I understand how to work across time zones and there will always be part of the day when we are both online.

I’ll give you full updates on all work done via the Basecamp

Many clients find that me working when they are offline as a bonus, stuff gets done to their sites when their site visitors are not online so changes don’t impact their live site as much.
